The guitar is over my expectation. Nice fret works, no buzz and very well balanced (no neck dive) ! 6 starts to the Halo team. The communication with Halo (Bruce and Brandon) were quick and nice. Cheers :)

Jeff sent me a new guitar case to replace the damaged case. Now my ideal Halo Custom Shop Seraphim will have a solid protection. Other shortcomings were also successfully eliminated. Thank you so much Jeff!

Great product and communication!

I think the final product was excellent! It sounds great, it feels nice to play, and everything came that I asked for. Jeff did a great job with customer service and helping me with the specs and clarifying what I would like, and Brandon was awesome with making sure my order was complete and shipped out when I reached out to him.

This guitar is all sorts of amazing at this price point. You get a high spec shred machine all of the notes ring out nicely always, also the pictures can't do it justice it looks way better when you have it in your hands. If you dont have 3k to burn on a custom premium guitar just buy this, it is just as good as those. It plays and sounds in every possible way better than my other guitars in the same price range! Highly recommended. The only tiny downside I have with this guitar is the floyd rose, i just realised after playing one for the first time that is not really my thing! Guitar as a whole gets a 9/10 point from me :)

Need To Ask A Question Please?? How I's This Guitar Listed As New, While At The Same Time Showing Scratches Snd Dings All Over?? Very Expensive Guitar To Be Mislead About The New Or Used

Hi Dan - we never intend or want to mislead anybody. We categorize a guitar as "new" if it has never been sold before (this guitar has never been sold before). Whereas, a "used" guitar would be one that was sold previously, returned, and then listed up for sale again. Cosmetic issues on guitars are not the determining factor for whether that guitar is "new" or "used."

You guys did one of my client's guitars. Got an 8 string custom with Evertune and it’s the best 8 string on the market. My guitar players LOVE this thing. Halo can improve with more brand recognition because the product is better than its competitors.

Great guitars out of the box

Ordered a custom 6 string seraphim body/demon headstock back in Dec 2014. This overdue review is for the entire ordering experience as well as the guitar itself.
Communication: Excellent. A 90 day lead time was an unrealistic lead time, but communication was sorted out. Expect a year, anything earlier is a bonus.
Quality: Good. Tone/Vol knobs not flush, but manageable. Frets were a little rough on sides, some buzzing on 13th and 14th frets of hi E, but I didn’t bother to send it back… my rookie mistake. Otherwise, contour/color/finish are excellent.
Overall: I would definitely revisit and go back to Halo for another one. They’ve come a long way since 2014 (based on the more recent pictures and reviews) and I’m looking forward to designing my next custom guitar with Jeff and the team.

I like it very much. I am very happy with my new guitar. It will be better if I can see more photo images and video clips of each products on website.

This was my first but definitely not last order from Halo Guitars. Top notch communication, customer service and order shipped quickly and expertly packed. The guitar itself is beyond expectations.

Ordered a 6 string V. Looks, plays and sounds great... Halo can improve with a little better QC and attention to minor details... But overall I am extremely happy with it, the colors are perfect and the inlay came out fantastic.

I love it! First of all, the natural finish looks so much better than the photo. The neck is smooth as silk. No sharp edges anywhere. The wider string spacing is going to be a blast to play with. My fingers are a little fatter than they used to be (I’m 61 so give me some slack). This is what first caught my attention when I saw it on sale. These pickups sound phenomenal (Halo Wide Range Calibrated Set). I’ve been noodling on my Marshall so far but tomorrow I’ll plug into the Boss Katana to really get them screaming. The setup is perfect by the way. The tech really paid attention to detail in making sure this guitar was ready to go out. Job well done!!

Halo Custom Guitars has created a Real Miracle – a unique fully one-piece guitar (its body, neck, fingerboard and headstock carved from single solid maple blank). However, the guitar lead time from the originally promised one year increased to two years, after each payment (50% deposit and remaining balance 10 months later) communication from Halo only got worse, the guitar came to me in a custom fitted Halo hardshell case with completely damaged interior due to polyfoam that was not fully glued and broken in four places (for all that the outer packaging and the exterior of the case were in perfect condition and do not even have cosmetic damages), also the guitar body contour (profile of the body surface), string gauges adjustment and t-short size did not match what was ordered. I also extra ordered and paid stainless steel frets. Halo did not manufacture this option, but instead made forced agreed replacement. On my penultimate mail, I received a response from Halo only a month later,
