I love this, it's great. I can make a completely customized guitar for a fraction of the price I'd pay with ESP.

Good choices, well priced, nice body designs.

It'd be great to have a kill switch option, both button and toggle mini switch. 360 degree view would be nice. The locking nut not be an option exclusive to trems, more pickup selection.

You guys really need to add a Gibson SG body shape. Would really help if you also had P90s in there, as well as some Sunburst colors.

the customisation

you shoud make a 0 preset, where one can choose all the components available, because for example when I choose a preset I find only some pickup available, but when I choose another preset I see other pickup I cannot see in the previous one. It's frustrating

visualization,guitar model,pickup choice are enough for make people like me spend a whole day to design my own model guitar through this website

Suggestions:
1. please add more headstock maybe like telecaster model,inverted telecaster,stratocaster and inverted stratocaster
2. P90 pickup type on pickup choice...
3. since some people like experiment on their guitar, maybe you can make a pickup choice like 4 single coils (S-S-S-S), triple humbucker,mixed active and passive pickups etc.
4. for color choice maybe Halo guitar can add more color choice
5. we can chose switch location on all of model, since some people maybe like switch on Covenant model appear around knobs,switch on Merus model appear on top, etc.

1. Thanks for your suggestions! We try to respect the original designs of other guitar companies & luthiers. So, we cannot offer the Strat and Tele headstock shapes. But, we will consider offering something similar and inspired by those designs.
2. We've received a lot of P90 requests and will include that in a future update.
3. This is possible in the Special Instructions, definitely.
4. We've had a lot of requests for this, and plan to offer Burst Finishes in a future update.

I don't know if anyone has pointed it out but...:
1.) When you choose the salvus model with a satin finish and flat contour it still show the guitar with having the forearm contour. the price gets corrected though.
And when you choose the salvus model with a satin finish and the forearm contour it shows an over sized texture.
When the gloss finish is selected everything is fine

2.) the price of the body top is being calculated as $80,00

*Angled pickups (Like a B.C Rich Gunslinger or Jake E. Lee Signature Charvel).
*Add P90's to the list of pickups.

I really really liked this builder, and in my opinion it's almost as good as Warmoth's! If you improved it just the slightest bit, for example, I would LOVE to see a bass option, especially since I myself am a bass player haha. But I understand that it's a new thing, and you guys did awesome on it!!

This is a great tool, I love using it!! It gives the freedom of designing something you can call your own. And it makes it so easy to design without trying to imagine what it looks like, because you can see what it looks like straight off.

I'm still itching to see the 9 and 10 string option and I wouldn't mind seeing a version of this tool for bass as well. On top of that, a Bigsby bridge for the BLH and the Covenant body styles and maybe a few more pickup options and colour options.

I didn't see an option for neck shape, add that and I will definitely consider ordering a custom guitar from HCG.

Cool guitar building tool!

Easy to make a kickass looking guitar and stuff.

It would be better if there were more options for angled pickups on multi-scale necks. It would be cool to have the EMG X series or the Metalworks series angled instead of straight across.

More manufacturers should have this in their custom shop tool gives out a great visualization of what could be.
