This is fun and easy to use, but it does need some improvements.

Absolutely loving this thing, it's kept me really occupied the past week. Definitely ordering my next instrument from here.
*The range of choice. My word. The extent of custom available makes most other custom shop guitars look like production line material. There is no restriction to stick within a certain similarity to the presets, they're just there to help.
*The ability to select the back color irrespective of the front color. This is an amazingly rare service.
*The 'Special Instructions' section, and the assurance somebody will actually contact you and verify them. This is the golden part that makes the word 'custom' 100% true.
*All the elements actually are visually represented properly. Everything appears to scale, and doesn't look cluttered on (something even the best visualizers normally seem completely incapable of, not naming any names)
*Even the tool tips seem friendly. Makes you look forward to customer service.
*All the Disadvantages listed can be addressed one way or another.
*In order to change between selecting active or passive humbuckers, I had to go back and load another preset that already had the type in question.
*The transparent finishes aren't given the most flattering representation compared to their real-life counterparts
*No selection for neck profile/nut width, and no clear indicator of what the standard neck shape is
*No indication of the body thickness
*No indication of neck joint shape

You guys should really add a burst feature! Other than that, very pleased about the overall set-up. Works smoothly, and has great options.

I love this, it's great. I can make a completely customized guitar for a fraction of the price I'd pay with ESP.
Good choices, well priced, nice body designs.
It'd be great to have a kill switch option, both button and toggle mini switch. 360 degree view would be nice. The locking nut not be an option exclusive to trems, more pickup selection.

Sweet guitar, feels great, sounds great, definitely would buy another!
You guys really need to add a Gibson SG body shape. Would really help if you also had P90s in there, as well as some Sunburst colors.

Add burst or bust! Seriously, great tool, I do wish there were more options in the finish department though.

you shoud make a 0 preset, where one can choose all the components available, because for example when I choose a preset I find only some pickup available, but when I choose another preset I see other pickup I cannot see in the previous one. It's frustrating

2. P90 pickup type on pickup choice...
3. since some people like experiment on their guitar, maybe you can make a pickup choice like 4 single coils (S-S-S-S), triple humbucker,mixed active and passive pickups etc.
4. for color choice maybe Halo guitar can add more color choice
5. we can chose switch location on all of model, since some people maybe like switch on Covenant model appear around knobs,switch on Merus model appear on top, etc.

1. Thanks for your suggestions! We try to respect the original designs of other guitar companies & luthiers. So, we cannot offer the Strat and Tele headstock shapes. But, we will consider offering something similar and inspired by those designs.
2. We've received a lot of P90 requests and will include that in a future update.

4. We've had a lot of requests for this, and plan to offer Burst Finishes in a future update.

Hey, I just wanted to let you know everything's good with the guitar. Everything is solid and put together well, and it's a good instrument for the price we paid for it. Sounds great, plays smoothly. I don't have any complaints really. I also want to thank you for keeping in touch, and putting up with my badgering throughout the process haha it reflects well on your company!

since Halo had a build giveaway I've came to the customization tool almost every day trying to make the best guitar under $1500

Sometimes we think about an ideal guitar in theory, but seeing the graphic representation of the guitar your dreaming about really helps to make sure it will look good.

I don't know if anyone has pointed it out but...:
1.) When you choose the salvus model with a satin finish and flat contour it still show the guitar with having the forearm contour. the price gets corrected though.
And when you choose the salvus model with a satin finish and the forearm contour it shows an over sized texture.
When the gloss finish is selected everything is fine
2.) the price of the body top is being calculated as $80,00

If you chose to match the headstock with the body, then the price adjusts an additional $30. It's our guess that you see an $80 price increase because you are selecting a body top and matched headstock combination ($50 + $30 = $80). ***

I really really liked this builder, and in my opinion it's almost as good as Warmoth's! If you improved it just the slightest bit, for example, I would LOVE to see a bass option, especially since I myself am a bass player haha. But I understand that it's a new thing, and you guys did awesome on it!!

This is a great tool, I love using it!! It gives the freedom of designing something you can call your own. And it makes it so easy to design without trying to imagine what it looks like, because you can see what it looks like straight off.
I'm still itching to see the 9 and 10 string option and I wouldn't mind seeing a version of this tool for bass as well. On top of that, a Bigsby bridge for the BLH and the Covenant body styles and maybe a few more pickup options and colour options.
