I have an electric bass that recently started having an issue. While I’m practicing, there will occasionally be sudden noise coming through the amp (unexpected buzzing or loud signal bursts). I’m not sure whether this is caused by the input jack, internal wiring, grounding, or something else.
I was wondering:
What are the most common causes of this type of intermittent noise?
Do you offer diagnostic evaluations, and is there a fee for inspection?
Please let me know if I should bring the bass in for an assessment or schedule an appointment in advance.
