My guitar was missing the end on the threaded rod that controls the pickup selector.

I purchased a Halo Octavia 6 String with a 50mm nut. Jeff and the team knocked it out of the park. My Halo Octavia is a supercar compared to the consumer sedans of guitars I have been playing. It will definitely take months to years before I can truly appreciate the subtleties that went into crafting a professional instrument of this quality, but I will try my best to describe the amazing experience thus far.

Guitars have never and will never be one size fits all despite what all these production model guitars would have you believe. I would accidentally mute strings and my clinically large hands were cramped, especially when playing any technical chord heavy playing (Think Chon, Polyphia, etc). Halo provided a guitar that gave me comfort and space I needed to fully express myself on guitar and focus on dynamics and articulation rather than *aM i gOnNa mUtE THeSe sTrInGs*?

There isn't a shipping company in the world that could've damaged this guitar. The first thing you notice is how light the box is. Definitely caught me off guard. After opening the box like a kid on Christmas, the guitar was secure under several layers of bubble wrap and cushioning as well as inside of another box with several layers of bubble wrap and cushioning.

The guitar played like a dream and the setup and intonation from the factory was SPOT ON. I will probably be spoiled with the setups and might have to fly to Cali every now and again to bother the team. The sustain and resonance from such a lightweight guitar puzzles the mind. We all know *that* brand with lightweight guitars and necks but you will not find this much sustain, quality, and attention to detail in any of their offerings without going custom and even then, your mileage may vary.

All in all, I am happy to have found the final piece of the puzzle as far as my musical journey and from now on, the only thing left to do is play. If I ever reach the point of being a professional touring musician, my first custom guitar will no doubt be with Halo.

Thank you Jeff and the team at Halo! Keep doing what you are doing!
