I absolutely love it and I’m very happy with how the guitar plays and performance. I’m a huge believer in these guitars. My band loves them
The guitar is fantastic! It looks badass, feels great and sounds even better! (Halo was kind enough to swap the pickups to Bareknuckle Blackhawk and they sound great!) It just in general feel like a solid piece of gear. This is now my main guitar, and i can´t wait to take it to the stage!
Its perfect.
Received on time and tuned to Drop B as asked! Wonderful guitar and Halo staff! Already wrote one song with her inspired deep grunt attack and unique sound! What a gem!
Excellent Guitar! I couldn't possibly be happier with this guitar.
I buy high quality stock and custom guitars and this guitar easily holds its own amongst them, while literally being the best priced. The pics online do not do this guitar justice. They have a slight greenish tint that isn't too appealing. In person it looks stunning with the natural wood grain showing through and and it is a seamless transition from the gloss top to the satin sides.
The action was low and the intonation was on point when the guitar arrived (3 weeks), it plays beautifully! The Evertune did need some minor tweaking to allow for bends, this was easy and there are lots of YouTube videos to help with this. The built in lithium ion battery for the active pickups is amazing! 250 hours play time and a USB charging port. My Schecter C-1 FR-S SLS Elite the 9 volt battery only lasts 40 hours, it did not come with a lithium ion battery or charger and they are not cheap. You also have to physically remove the battery every time to charge it which is an unnecessary hassle. I did order this guitar with a case to insure it would get to me in good shape. The case is good quality as well.
The craftmanship and thoughtful design of this guitar have genuinely impressed me. On sale the way this one is the value of what you receive beats Schecter, the former value for money king of high end stock guitars, even after the added expense of the case. My next custom will be a Halo.
Jeff is the man! Super nice guy and he made buying from Halo a pleasure.
To improve: Offer locking tuners as an upgrade option on stock guitars, or just jack the prices $50 and add them. Now I'll have to buy them after market, I would have rather given Halo an extra $50. Start offering a Sustainiac neck pickups (they are a little tricky compared to other active pickups, make sure to read the manufacturers resources) as an option in the custom shop. Possibly make a stock option with an Evertune and a Sustainiac. Nobody offers that stock and I think it would be extremely popular.

5 stars!
Best playing neck of all my guitars. Least amount of prep work to get excellent low action; only had to level one or two upper frets. Blue flame maple headstock veneer matched the body to perfection. I can play things on this neck that I can't on my other ones, so this makes me want to play it even more. Hard to put it down.
I have two suggestions for replacement necks. First, I would have liked pre-drilled mounting screw holes to make the job of attaching the neck to the body easier. I have previously used Warmoth necks with the holes pre-drilled and had no problems because of it. I would pay a little more for this feature. Second, I would like to see the first and sixth strings moved slightly inboard and the string-to-string spacing readjusted. The fret ends are beveled for comfort, but I sometimes push the first and sixth strings off the neck when playing fast and causing the string to land on the beveled area. I had the same trouble with a complete Halo custom build. For reference, this neck has a 2" nut width, the other Halo guitars have 1 7/8" nut widths. I might not have this trouble with a 1 11/16" nut width.
I have the need for two more necks in the future and hope they arrive in as good a ready-to-play-shape as this neck.

Guitar is a dream! Can't put the thing down. Thanks again!
Very impressed with the craftsmanship. Can improve by offering more color options on small batches for 7 string guitars
Guitar is really good quality. That there was no locking tuners due to a listing mistake, which is no biggie. Halo refunded the cost of the upgrade and updated the listings. Super responsive and helpful throughout the whole process and the pre-order has been really easy. Quality/Price is really strong with Halo. Definitely recommend!
Ordered a custom purple 7 string electric guitar, and it meets all expectations!!
Overall, very pleased with the actual guitar. After thoroughly inspecting it myself and testing it, it plays and looks beautiful. I do wish it wasn't such a struggle to stay updated... but otherwise, staff was very friendly and helpful on answering questions.

Guitar arrived perfectly setup, safe, and amazing! Great communication with Halo guitars, kept me informed of everything, answered any questions I had, and I couldn’t be happier. The case fits my Merus amazingly. Worth the (custom) setup! Especially with an evertune! Tuning low to high: ADGCFAD, Gauges: 11.14.18.28.38.49.64
Thank you very much!
I play classical/fingerstyle guitar and have been looking for an electric that would allow me a more natural adaptation from the wide and flat neck classical guitars that I love to play. I was looking for the tonal flexibility, extended fret board, and low action of a steel string electric, but with the neck width and bridge string spacing of a classical. Halo nailed it! I love the smooth feel of the neck finish, width, and radius, the easy accessibility up to the 24th fret, the perfect spacing for right hand fingerstyle playing, and the incredibly easy to play action. The simplicity of the look is very beautiful, I love the solid body with the glossy finish, and the satin finish on the neck. The pickups are neutral, but with an acoustic brightness and high output that allow me to shape the tone easily. I love playing lead/jazz/melodic improv on this guitar with a fender twin reverb type of sound. The wider neck is not getting in the way of playing non-classical/fingerstyle music.
In tune and ready to rock
I ordered a Salvus 6 string baritone in army green. I love it so far! So far, I'm super happy with Halo's product and communication.
